The Hypatia shawl has the shape of a triangle and is crocheted in rows from one side to the other with the yarn Scheepjes Whirl. The decorative trims and the edge are crocheted last with the yarn Scheepjes Whirlette in a contrasting color. The shawl in the pictures are made with the colors Scheepjes Whirl, 753 Slice ’O’ Cherry Pie and Scheepjes Whirlette, 859 Rose.

If you use the same yarn and hook (3.5 mm) suggested in this pattern the measurements will be approx. 155 x 115 x 115 cm after blocking.
